History
MBR is a privately held Colorado corporation which began offering healthcare financial services in 1996. Its corporate headquarters is located in the Denver Technological Center in suburban Denver. Founding owners, Eric Whitrock (President) and Bruce Savnik (Executive Vice President) developed the business from an initial staff of two employees into a dynamic organization with a national presence, having projects at 167 facilities in 83 cities from coast to coast. Major clients include nearly every hospital in the greater Denver area and many healthcare providers throughout Colorado, Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri and Nebraska.
By recovering fees from unpaid third party payer claims, MBR has been able to generate much needed cash flow for its healthcare clients. Over the years MBR has recovered into the hundreds of millions of dollars for its provider clients. MBR’s Extended Business Office “EBO”, centrally located within the heartland in Illinois, has become the supporting structure for revenue cycle turn-around projects within the providers’ own business office.
MBR has also recognized the growing demand for data management and data integration. This began the evolution of MBR’s analytical software product, AnswerData and ATB+. It identifies the compelling factors that would have hospital executives eagerly embracing a software product which could provide data integration and management, analytical forecasting and cash recovery strategies to help assure financial success.
The internally designed “AnswerData Strategy Chart” has become the analytical blue print to achieving predetermined levels of cash recovery. The strategy focuses on specific inventories of hospital third party payer claims and systematically progresses through selected account portfolios, both actively and retroactively. Each portfolio is identified along with the specific actions to be taken in sequential order.
MBR’s software product development continues to evolve as it supports the cash recovery efforts of major healthcare providers and continues to meet the needs of its clients.
